The decorative title cartouche with two male figures is surmounted on a stonework panel displaying fourteen coats of arms of the nobility plus two blank shields. The scale cartouche shows a surveyor on horseback directing his assistant to measuring. The end of the chain is held by a putti. Royal Stuart Arms and another. 19 3/4 x 16 inches. Spanish text on verso. Original hand colouring. Fine condition with wide margins. Very small area of thinner paper in the right hand blank margin, 2 inches away from the map area.
