CARLISLE. An interesting early 19th century town plan engraved by J. Roper from a drawing by G. Cole. Bears the publisher's imprint below dated 1805. The plan is embellished with a vignette view of Carlisle with the Catheral, Castle and Bridge. Two coats of arms. 7 x 9 inches, 175 x 230 mm. Uncoloured Good conditon.
