A MAP OF THE PARISH OF ST. MARY ROTHERHITHE. An engraved map of the parish of St. Mary in Rotherhithe bounded by the River Thames. This map comes from the sixth edition of John Stow's "Survey of London". Material for this edition was gathered together by the Reverend John Strype and new maps were drawn based on earlier maps by Richard Blome. First pubished in 1720 this edition is easy to identify as it has a binders instruction across the base of the map dated 1755. 16 x 10 3/4 inches. Uncoloured. Two original vertical fold creases. Good condition.
