Small bottom blank margin with slight trimming of the publishers imprint. Otherwise good condition.

A NEW MAP OF THE KINGDOME OF ENGLAND REPRESENTING THE PRINCEDOME OF WALES, AND OTHER PROVINCES, CITIES, MARKET TOWNS, WITH THE ROADS FROM TOWN TO TOWN AND THE NUMBER OF REPUTED MILES BETWEEN THEM, ARE GIVEN BY INSPECTION WITHOUT SCALE OR COMPASS. A fascinating map of England and Wales its main feature being to show the distances between cites and market towns towards the end of the 17th century. A decorative uncoloured cartouche displays the title whilst a smaller uncoloured cartouche displays the explanation. In the bottom right hand corner is an interesting text saying the map was available from Nicolas Visscher in Amsterdam and also sold by John Overton at the White Horse without Newgate in London. 19 34 x 22 3/4 inches. Original outline hand colouring. Small blank margins. Some brown marks here and there but otherwise in good undamaged condition on a stout paper.
